Last night was my first Foundations of Entrepreneurship class session taught by T.A. McCann. I plan to post a few interesting insights I learn and thoughts that are sparked each week after class.
- Most good companies struggle for 12 months. Failure and resilience are part of the start-up process. Sounds a lot like graduate school!
- Luck is an important part of success but it will only come if you are in the game.
- Always be working on 5-10 ideas at a time. You are more likely to find the right coworkers, right investors, right trends, and right customers if you have a diverse set of potential start-ups.
- Hire people with diverse skills but the same outlook on life and success.
